                                          -    We are seeking a leader !  -

The Service 
Director  we are seeking will be very organized, bring operating competence and ability to improve our department.  Our Service Director will understand that the customer service experience is determined by the leader and his or her staff.  Unyielding commitment to the customers’ service experience is a major reason why this dealership has such a terrific reputation.  Our Service Director will be dedicated to building upon this reputation and looking for continuous improvement.


 
 Duties and Responsibilities:
Leadership
• Provides day-to-day leadership and management that  supports  business strategies and department processes and procedures
• Monitors technicians’ daily performance reports and corresponding DOC, invoice register and time sheets; analyzing results and takes corrective action when applicable
• Monitors and drive achievement of performance targets (KPI) of service writers, technicians 
and overall service department
• Hires, trains
,motivates and develops the service department employees
• Completes performance evaluations regularly and develops short and long-term goals for each department employee
• Ensures that service repairs are performed efficiently and correctly by conducting spot checks on jobs
 
Financial
• Sets sales and profit objectives with the assistance of the Directors. Forecasts and strategizes to obtain these goals and objectives
• Drives accountability and achievement of dealership service departments financial goals and work with underperforming personnel on action plans to meet objectives
• Oversees Work-In-Process (WIP) status and maintain acceptable results as outlined by the company
 
Operations
• Creates and maintains positive relationships with customers, ensuring the department staff is helpful, as well as making customer satisfaction a priority to ensure repeat and referral business
• Maintains outstanding business relationships
withmanufacturer(s)
• Attends  corporate management meetings as scheduled
• Conducts regular department meetings to communicate important department information; such as new repair procedures and department sales and profitability
• Works closely
withDirector of Service Operations to enhance pricing guides and maintenance menus,
 
Reporting Relationships:
The Service Manager reports directly to the Corporate Director of Operations.

  • Proven CSI
  • Great references including factory references 
  • Ability to commute to Marietta, Ohio daily  basis
